The journey began with the import of fine upholstery leather from Elmo Sweden, one of Europe's most respected leather producers. Working closely with Swedish products and design philosophy sparked an appreciation for Scandinavian craftsmanship, comfort and timeless design. From that inspiration, the Karlsson brand was born.

Today, Karlsson is one of India's leading specialists in luxury private cinema seating, while also creating bespoke sofas, recliners and lounge seating for discerning homeowners in India and overseas.

As a family-owned business, Sajith now leads Karlsson alongside his two sons, combining decades of experience with new expertise in business development, operations and acoustic solutions.
